Roger Gurley, from Corner, Alabama, created Tradition Physical Therapy as a place to deliver patient first care oriented atmosphere to Cullman AL. Roger attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2003. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2006.

Roger utilizes manual therapy techniques, functional exercises, Kinesio taping, dry needling, blood flow restriction and therapeutic activities in order to restore patients back to optimal function. In his spare time, Roger enjoys playing golf. He also enjoys watching Alabama athletics and spending time with his daughter, Carsyn, and with family and friends.

Cory earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Alabama and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Alabama State University. Cory has more than 6 years of experience working with patients who have orthopedic and sports related injuries as well as a variety of neurological conditions including concussion and Parkinsonism’s.

He is Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 certified and practices advanced techniques such as trigger point dry needling and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. When Cory is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kaley and their three daughters, Kinsley, Riley and Ellie as well as being an active member of F3 Birmingham in the Hoover region.

Lacey Calvert serves as our Physician Liaison. With a degree in Public Relations from Auburn University and more than ten plus years of practice marketing and business development experience, she is committed to connecting healthcare professionals and fostering partnerships. Lacey has a passion for making Tradition Physical Therapy a part of the Cullman community, which she calls home. In her spare time she enjoys watching Auburn University athletics and spending time with her children, Bailey and Clay.

Madeline is from Snead, AL where she graduated from Susan Moore High School and is currently a student at Snead State Community College.
